Masterwork scarring knives and masterwork mortor and pestle can improve success. See equipment in Ancestral Vault.

Characters with 5 or more ranks in Wilderness Lore can add a +2 synergy bonus to their Natural Medicine skilll. Characters with 5 or more ranks in Profession (herbalist) can add a +2 syndergy bonus to their Natural Medicine skill. These bonuses stack.
